NEW FORMAT FOR SOUTH BAY FOCUS! DEADLINE: AUGUST 31, 2018
SBF South Bay Focus 2.0 December 1 – 14, 2018 NEW FORMAT!!!
For this year 2018, TAM will select 4 artists to present their work for SBF. Each artist will be allocated one quarter of the Main Gallery to set up a solo show, with multiple works, so that viewers can experience their work in more depth.
Following engaging meetings with various stakeholders TAM has taken on board many of their suggestions and we will be updating the SBF exhibition with a brand new approach.
Artists from any South Bay zipcode, whether they live or work there (or if they are members of the Torrance Artists Guild, TAMA or the South Bay Watercolor Society), can apply by sending 10 images, an artist’s statement about the work they make, an exhibition resume and other relevant materials to TAM. It is free to apply.
We will conduct studio visits, through September and October, with all artists that are shortlisted and will select 4 individuals/groups to present their work in the Main Gallery of TAM.
Please send your materials on a thumb-drive, CD, or hard copy on paper, to Torrance Art Museum, 3320 Civic Center Drive, Torrance, CA 90503.
